Low Moisture Carpet Cleaning Information
Low moisture cleaning has quickly become a popular method for cleaning carpets and hard floor surfaces.
It is a fairly new concept taking off in the last five years.
Low moisture carpet cleaning has a number of advantages:
The whole process uses a fraction of the amount of water compared to traditional hot water extraction carpet cleaning.
Low moisture means very short dry times. Carpets are usually completely dry within one to two hours.
Safe for all carpets, including wool and nylon where a risk of dye bleed can cause damage to delicate fibres.
This method reduces the risk of excessive damp, leading to mould and foisty smell issues, especially during the winter months or when the weather is humid.
Environmentally friendly and no harsh chemicals are used.
Saving water is a big reason why it has become so popular.
This makes a big difference in helping our planet.
The Process of Low Moisture Cleaning.
Low moisture / quick dry carpet cleaning uses an encapsulation (encap) cleaning agent. It is also paired with other spotters that do not leave any residue.
The encap chemical is concentrated and diluted, usually with "tap hot" water before being applied to the carpet using a sprayer.
Various spotters are also used (when required) to remove specific staining - ie coffee, red wine, pet urine etc.
The encap solution works by attaching itself and surrounding the dirt and soil particles in the carpet, which then crystalise as it dries.
A rotary cleaning machine is used to agitate the encap using a pad.
A new pad is then fitted to the machine to lift the majority of the encapsulated dirt and soil.
The remaining encap will dry completely and is simply vacuumed out of the carpet during the regular cleaning regime.
In some instances, carpets can appear cleaner following two or three regular vacuums, this is due to the dried encap lifting any remaining dirt from the carpets.

If you're paying in full via the selected options above, a booking deposit does not apply.
We require a £40.00 deposit if:
- We're travelling over 20 miles to you (or the job location) from TS7, Middlesbrough.
- You are booking as a third party (landlord, tradesman, housing agency etc).
- You have previously booked and cancelled your appointment giving less than 48 hours notice.
We'll discuss any deposit requirements when you arrange your appointment.

Carpet Cleaning Questions and Answers
DO I NEED TO MOVE FURNITURE?
We would ask you to move small items, side tables, ornaments etc to another room in order to protect them.
Sofas, settees, arm chairs - we can move as we clean the carpets.
Heavy items such as beds, tv’s and bookshelves we cannot move. We can go round them or underneath them as much as possible.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MY CARPETS TO DRY?
This varies on the type of carpet fibre, for example wool carpets take longer than man made fibres. Allowing windows to be open will dry them much faster.
You can walk on them straight away but they may remain damp to the touch for several hours.
If we are cleaning more than one room, we'll use cold air blowers after each room to speed up the drying time.
WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES?
We offer excellent value for money and work on a fixed price policy. The total cost will vary on number of rooms you want cleaned.
The more areas you have cleaned in one visit will be more cost effective.

I HAVE SOME OLD PET STAINS, WILL THEY CLEAN?
Pet staining, or any staining depends on the type of carpet fibre construction and length of time the stain has been in the carpet.
It helps us greatly to know the cause of the stain before treatment, as we have different methods and products to treat different stains.
We'll discuss any issues with you before we start cleaning.
Mattress Cleaning
Your mattress is the main contact point between you and your home, so it can get dirty very quickly.
Our professional mattress cleaning will remove most staining* and will sanitise and clean your mattress.
Using either a steam extraction system or low moisture system to clean your mattresses giving the best results.
* Complete stain removal is not guaranteed. There a number of dependant factors - type of stain - how long the contamination has been in the mattress.
