Deep Cleaning or Strip & Reseal?
It all depends on how long the flooring has been down and how ofter it's been deep cleaned. Grime builds up gradually and you might not notice as you see it every day. Most types of hard flooring only require a deep clean, but if it's been down for 5 years or more, it will benefit from a full strip and reseal.
DEEP CLEANING:
Deep cleaning involves a mild cleaning solution alongside a heavy duty rotary / scrubbing machine. The dirt is released and then removed leaving your floors - spotless.
We can clean, strip and reseal your Karndean & Amtico flooring, including Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) and Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) designs.
STRIP & RESEAL -
The dullness experienced with many types of hard flooring comes from years of wear to the top, protective coat.
Stripping the top layer (PU layer) removes the original protective coating, back to the original floor finish.
A new polymer (PU) coating is then applied (usually two coats) in either gloss or satin finish, and will protect and enhance the beauty of the flooring.
The new coating provides a hard wearing top coat which will last for many years.
This is a very cost effective process to protect and rejuvenate your flooring.

It is recommended to have the protective surface layer removed and replaced when your flooring becomes dull and scratched.
We offer a complete strip and reseal service, renewing the condition of your flooring.
All skirting boards and kitchen kick boards are masked up to protect them during this process.
Final finishes include satin and gloss, to suit your personal preference.
